Description
Designed by Volodymyr Taran, the issue combines the trident — the principal symbol of Ukrainian statehood — with eight historical seals of Ukrainian institutions and military bodies from 1918–1921. Among them is the very trident that was approved by the Verkhovna Rada in 1992 as the state emblem of independent Ukraine.
